One of the questions I am asked most often in readings is about compatibility between partners. We all want to know whether our relationship is destined to work, or whether the stars are on our side. In this article I am going to tell you how compatible the signs of the zodiac are, and how the elements — fire, earth, air and water — play a crucial part in that compatibility.
Fire with air: passion and enthusiasm
The fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) get on very well with one another, and also with the air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius). Why? Because both fire and air are energetic and dynamic. Fire brings passion, enthusiasm and action, while air brings freshness, ideas and communication. Together they can create a lively relationship with no room for routine. Fire signs are stimulated by the intellect and creativity of air signs, and air signs enjoy the warmth and vitality that fire offers them.
Water with earth: stability and deep feeling
The water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) tend to be very compatible with one another, and with the earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) too. Water is emotional, intuitive and deep, while earth is practical, stable and concrete. This combination can be very harmonious, because water feeds the earth, and earth gives water safety and stability.

Signs of the same element are usually the most compatible, but that does not mean you cannot find a great connection with someone of another element. These points are only an indication.
